I have suffered with sinus issues for many years. I have had 2 different sinus surgeries. 1 a long time ago, the 2nd by Dr. Yeung. I have to admit I had a great experience. He's very thorough and explains everything that is wrong. He will show you on your CT scan the issues you're having, and will go into grave detail about how he can fix it. My main reason for sticking with Dr. Yeung is he claims after he does your surgery, the chances of a re-due is very low.

I had my surgery with him almost 2 years ago. I can say that I haven't had many issues with my sinuses. I still have gotten a sinus infection (who doesn't). He has a CT scan machine at his office which makes it convenient if you have a current sinus issue going on. He also numbs your nose and looks in there making sure you don't have any infection or anything going on.

Overall, I have had nothing but a positive experience. He doesn't try and rush through his patients which most doctors seem to do. He takes his time and explains everything that is going on. You never leave out out there feeling rushed or anything like that. I wish I had him do my 1st surgery.

If you are in need of a good ENT doctor, Dr. Yeung is the man to go to. You won't be disappointed.

I have had an amazing experience with Dr. Yeung and his incredible staff. I had a deviated septum, acute sinusitis, and needed my turbinates reduced. I knew that I had the deviated septum, but Dr. Yeung had me do imaging of my head and it was very apparent that my nose and sinuses were really messed up.

This was done on my first visit along with a thorough evaluation of my condition. After reviewing my imaging, Dr. Yeung explained to me what the process would be to correct my issue. He was detailed and answered my question. He is extremely knowledgeable and a couple of my questions seemed to be answered flippantly although I wasn't insulted at the time and have come to know that this was him joking with me.

Dr. Yeung is a perfectionist so if you want a doctor who will do an outstanding job for you, go see Dr. Yeung. I have seen such an improvement in my quality of life since he worked on me and can't express how happy I am that I choose him to do the surgery.

My care after the surgery has been of the highest caliber. I saw the doctor weekly, then bi weekly, then monthly, and hopefully now every two months. I never had any pain from the operation although I did have a fever. I was told to contact the doctor is my fever went above a certain level and when I did after hours, he called my right back, asked me a few clarifying questions, and then reassured me that all was fine.

For me this surgery and recovery has gone exactly if not better than the doctor had explained to me on my initial visit. I rate him as one of the best surgeons that I have worked with over my lifespan.

Now for his incredible staff. Every time I have been in their office they are extremely nice and polite. They are pleasant to be around and are overall great people. They have been informative and helpful. Once I determined that I was moving forward with the surgery, I was walked through all of the charges that would be billed and what my responsibility would be. The discussion was clear and informative and all my questions were addressed professionally. From that moment to now they have been prompt in answering all questions and have always been extremely responsive to any questions, concerns, or requests that I have had. I have appointments for follow up for my surgery regularly as discussed earlier in this review, and I can honestly say that I look forward to going in for my appointments and having the privilege of interacting with these outstanding professionals and individuals. Quality and caring people who have shown me every courtesy as well as having high ethical and moral standards. You can trust them not to take advantage of you or to overcharge or bill you for something that wasn't previously agreed to.

This group of people (Dr. Yeung and his staff) are "Top Shelf" in my opinion. If I have any other issues or any of my family have problems in the future, I can tell you for certain that we will be back.

Dr Yeung is the BEST! He is very knowledgeable in his field and very informative. He didn't ever rush my appointments. He always made sure I was fully aware of what he was going to be doing. His staff are very down to earth, and accommodating. I loved my experience! I can already breathe better, and it's only been a month!

Here is the short review: Dr. Yeung cured me of my chronic sinusitis and my severe sleep apnea. He is the closest thing to a miracle worker that I have ever experienced. I am healthy for the first time in my life.

Surgery was Dec. 15, 2015, but I waited until today to write because I just got the call from the sleep doctor that my apnea is now mild enough to no longer have to use a CPAP or any other advise (sleep on your side, is her advice)

Before my surgery, I had suffered from sinus pain and infections for as long as I can remember. I was taking Tylenol and Claritin-D every day the way others take a multi-vitamin. Even with that, I also felt somewhat sick and several times a year got an infection so bad that I didn't want to get out of bed. I would take days from work when I had a head cold, which was often, but also one or two day a year when I wasn't "sick", but had a headache so bad that I couldn't think and often felt nausea.

In 2007 I had sinus surgery in a top hospital in NYC, and my symptoms improved a bit, but I was still always getting sick. In 2009, I went to a specialist in Dallas, where I had moved, and he told me after looking at a scan that the passage way was too narrow, the previous surgeon did the best that she could and that he couldn't help me.

In 2008 or so I was diagnosed with severe sleep apnea and used a CPAP machine while I slept. This helped me feel less tired during the day, but it was a hassle and I was still getting head colds and sinus infections.

Dr. Yeung looked at my scan and immediately told me that he could cut out tissue, re-align the septum and do some work on the bones in the upper nose. The pre-op, op and follow-up were all very professional and comfortable. Nicole Eze was particularly pleasant and helpful.

I am now fully healed and feel great. If you have sinus issues, call the Yeung Institute. Just make sure you follow the post-surgery therapy regime so you don't get scabs! I followed the routine, and had excellent results.

Dr. Yeung and his staff are amazing, and he will perform an amazing sinus or facial surgery. The receptionist Natalie is very friendly, and she will work around your schedule. Very clean facility and I highly recommend anyone who wants/needs a facial reconstruction.

I struggled with snoring and sleep apnea for years. One Dr said I was not a candidate for surgery and should wait a few yrs. I then found Dr. Yeung and he said I was a perfect candidate so we went thru with the procedure. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. They told me exactly what to expect and it was as they described. I will say the pain afterwards from the tonsillectomy was severe as most adults will tell you, but the sinus surgery wasnt bad at all. After about 3 weeks I was doing much better and by 5 weeks I felt amazing. I don't snore anymore, I can breathe and when I've caught a cold, the congestion had little affect on my throat and sinuses because they were so much more open. I sleep much better and wake up feeling much more refreshed! I'd highly recommend this surgery by Dr Yeung to anyone searching for relief! Regards, Justin Frazier, Owner, Merchant Rescue, Inc.

    My Surgical Procedures:

    Endoscopic Sinus Surgery
    Septoplasty
    Bilateral inferior Turbinate

The doctor was very confident of his work and answered all my questions. I realized I was 100% a mouth breather and needed those procedures done. There is no greater feeling than being able to breath through your nose. All I can say is that if you are thinking about it, from my experience, I recommend it. Thank you for everything!

We took our son to see Dr. Yeung after he failed a hearing test. The pediatrician requested we evaluate his hearing, as well as sinus, as there is a family history. Dr. Yeung made our little boy feel at ease - asked lots of questions, and was efficient with our time! We left informed, and aware of different options.

I've had a badly deviated septum for most of my life. For whatever reason things have been getting worse with my nose, to the point that my only way to sleep was to use a nose strip. I had been contemplating having my nose be corrected for quite some time, but with my sleep becoming more and more affected I decided the time had finally arrived for me to do something about it.

I went to see one doctor who was "in network" for me. He looked in my nose and said the right nostril was deviated and that the turbinates were enlarged in my left nostril. Being a runner I asked him if he thought my having my nose be surgically corrected would help with my running (I knew it would help my sleep, but I was wondering if a straightened nose would also allow me to gain a deeper breath while running). He basically responded that he didn't thing so. A few days later in a monthly local running magazine that I subscribe to I saw an advertisement for the Yeung Institute that alluded to the concept that a "corrected" nose would help with running. I made an appointment to see Dr. Yeung. Upon his diagnosing me he concurred with the observations of the previous doctor that I had seen, but he also noted that my left nostril was also deviated. The deviation was further back and harder to see. This explained why my left nostril was so much more obstructed. It wasn't just an issue with enlarged turbinates. And so I scheduled surgery.

A few notes regarding surgery and post-op care . . . first, there is a discount for paying for part of your surgery up front. Something I appreciated. Second, Dr. Yeung's pre-op and especially his post-op directions for care need to be followed to the letter. It might seem like much work with the steamings, spraying, meds, etc., but they really will make your nose heal faster. Dr. Yeung is a very thorough doctor who has an eye for attention to detail. His specific post-op instructions are really designed to help aid in healing.

Having said all that, I am a bit over three months post-op now and I can truly say that I am so glad that I had the surgery done, and that Dr. Yeung was the one who performed the surgery. The quality of sleep I get at night is truly amazing. And I no longer own any nose strips. As for running, being able to catch a full and deep breath while running is a very calming and enjoyable sensation.

In short, if you are contemplating nasal surgery to improve your breathing, Dr. Yeung is the surgeon you need to see.

P.S. . . . I'd be remiss to not acknowledge the staff that assists Dr. Yeung at the institute! All those ladies are extremely patient, professional, and friendly!!!
